Dave Lewison has put together an analysis of the events on May 12th, 2004 in Kansas. Below are a series of radar images with coinciding photographs taken while chasing that day near Medicine Lodge, Ks. & Attica, Ks. The purple triangles show our exact position at the time the radar image was taken. Notice on the last image the bad position we were in...no east option, a tornado to our south and a hail core to our north. Thanks Dave for the images!! Photos were captured from video shot on highway 160 in and around Attica, Kansas on May 12th, 2004. The small elephant trunk tornado was captured on highway 160 west of Medicine Lodge, Ks.
